Follow the highway to Airolo (and take the junction/exit here not to pay the taxes of the Swiss highway, then continue on the statal road).
Continue towards the S. Gottardo Mountain Pass (signs indicating the cycling route lead you to the old stony road, beautiful, except with the RC8).
We suggest you to stop on the Pass to chat with other riders (in summer there are hundreds of motorcycles parked) and to stretch your legs. Then go downhill to Andrermatt (possibility of food/shelter here), from which you can fit into the tour C 3 following the signs to Furka.
We recommend to go to the Susten Mountain Pass, that is a secondary mountain pass, less famous and less congested than the Gottardo and Furka ones, but just as beautiful and very tight. On the Susten Pass, stop if you like, to exchange motorbikes and/or opinions
Going down, turn left and go up again from the Grimsel Pass, another secondary mountain pass, very beautiful, bare/barren but unique, with its 3 dams in close sequence (the road here is "pure pleasure").
At the top of the step, continue towards the Novena Pass, and the road leads you back to Airolo. The Novena Pass, is also less famous, less busy but very good, both for driving and for the view. On the way there, you’ll find many resting points for motorcyclists, and the “chicken in the basket” is a typical dish of this area.
